My Therapy

How did I Learn how to be Faithful to God, Paint & Journal?

I believe in a positive mindfulness expressing faith, hope and peace along with a firm believer in practicing the serenity prayer.

How has God changed my life?

Acknowledging, the person I was in life with understanding the person I knew myself to be would no longer exist.  Rather perhaps may be described best as a "re-birth".

Acceptance of the changes in my life and events on my timeline of life.  Learning how important the call of order is to have an order of God being my strength.

Awareness of the importance in a much more deepened sense of security, wellness of the mind, energy and being and the future.

My Awakening to a new profound "rebirth" of my calling to God in my mindfulness, energy and being.

Choices of expressions which are as therapy.:

God: Being faithful to God each and every day with prayer with expressions of gratitude, appreciation and compassion in a manner of which I choose.

Reading: I believe this is a good exercise for the eyes and brain as well as for the mind.

Journaling: I believe this exercise my enjoys as well as the mind. A very excellent way to express in silence.

Exercising: I believe this to be a good exercise for the spine, brain and mind along with the heart, organs, muscle and nerves.  After all the one commodity which is limited is time.

Cooking: Nutrition is also very important to wellness of the organs and health and being.  A healthy diet in which my organs will be able to transform the food into energy is important.  Cooking also provides reading, measuring and a process which requires the senses and the brain enjoys these activities I believe.

Brain Exercises:  Some examples searches, cross word puzzles, puzzles, matching & memory games.  Ways in which I find to relax is by reading my bible or study bible, along with laying on a blanket by the water under the big blue sky.  Other activities in which I find my brain enjoys are researching, studying, time outdoors, creating and imagination.

Painting: Whether it be painting a project or on canvas, painting is  A therapy which offers relaxation, calmness and a way to express.    Moments in time of expression with the mind, energy and soul.

Outdoors: A place I have found that is very soothing and comforting is time near or in the water, in nature amongst the blue sky and trees.  Basically, isolation moments in time that are with God on this earth praying for my healing in order to best live with PTSD.  I never prayed so much in my life.  As well the sunlight I believe is good healing energy.

Some of my rules in which I strive to have present:
